Cutest THINGS ever!!

Ok...so I'm a little late in posting Halloween pictures, but they're stinking cute!! :)

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch and picked pumpkins today! JD's highlights were picking a white pumpkin and seeing the "cow go potty" in the barn. He's so two!! Ethan had fun inspecting the pumpkins and trying to figure out exactly what they are! We had fun. :)

Ethan is 9 months!

Ethan popped his 4th tooth (upper right) on his 9 month birthday! He had a photo shoot with Grandma and Grandpa Dunwell to get some pictures with the red checked blanket...a family tradition! They came out so cute!! He is crawling around like a crazy boy. Ethan loves standing up and holding onto the couch. I bet he'll start trying to walk soon! JD loves playing with him. He is such a good big brother! JD got in on the photo shoot for the Halloween pictures. I love my munchkins!! :)

Sept update!

A lot has happened since I last updated! Ethan has three teeth now! This pic shows his two bottom ones, but he also has one on his top left! By tomorrow night, he might have his other top tooth, too! We'll see!! JD is learning and growing so quickly. I can't believe all the things my parents are teaching him. Last night at church, he picked up a yellow puzzle piece and said, "Look, Mommy...yellow pentagon." I was like WHAT??? You know what a pentagon is?? Seriously!!! It caught me off guard and was pretty funny. He is picking up on everything we say and do and just loves being Daddy's shadow! Ethan is crawling a ton! He still goes forward a little bit, then inchworms once, then pops back up on his knees. It's pretty funny. I'll try to video that this weekend. We're getting excited for fun fall weekends at the cider mill and playing in the leaves!! Leave a comment and let us know what you've been up to! :)

car wash

JD had a great time today at Daddy's swim car wash! His favorite part was the hose! Too bad he didn't put more water on the cars, and less on himself! He is growing up so fast. We're moving the "big bed" from the guest room into his room this weekend. I'll post pictures of his new room when we have it all ready!

Back to the Grind

Tomorrow John and I officially begin school for the 08-09 school year. It's been a fun summer, and I have really enjoyed spending time with John and the boys. I am excited, however, for my new class and a new year. I think I might make some "new school years" resolutions! I have a goal to lose at least 30 pounds by the end of the school year. I want to become healthier for my boys. It will make playing next summer so much more fun!! John is back to coaching and loves it, of course. Things are good, I have no complaints! We're looking forward to Sarah's wedding this weekend and having the chance to see the Burch side of the family again so soon!! :)

First Tooth for Ethan!!

Yay! On Thursday, Ethan's first tooth popped through on his bottom left. It was a long week with all the classic symptoms and *poof* there it was! I tried to take a picture, but you can't see it very well yet, so once it pops up a little more, I'll post one. :)
